Outta the Blue™ is a shrub rose bred by Tom Carruth (USA) for Weeks Roses and introduced in 2002. Its blooms are a distinctive magenta-purple that age to smoky lavender tones, often with golden stamens for contrast. Medium-sized, double flowers are produced in clusters with a strong, spicy clove fragrance. Upright, vigorous, and very floriferous, this variety combines unusual color with fragrance and hardiness.
