What makes a David Austin® rose?Learn more
Why gardeners love them
Bred in England over sixty years, David Austin® roses pair the full, romantic form and deep fragrance of old garden roses with the repeat flowering and colour range of modern ones.
They earn their place twice over, shrubby and generous in the border, and long-lasting once cut for the house. We carry them both own-root and budded, grown and shipped from California.

I recently bought their 1 gallon and I was so happy to receive a well sized rose with seven stems! They did a really good job growing these as the stems were pretty thick.I recently bought their 1 gallon and I was so happy to receive a well sized rose with seven stems!David Austin® The Cottage Rose®

Very, very fragrant. My daughter used to manage a flower shop and she stated they were more fragrant than any roses they ever had. They were also longer lasting than the usual roses. I will get these again.Very, very fragrant. My daughter used to manage a flower shop and she stated they were more fragrant than any roses they ever had.Pink O'Hara® Bouquet

Gracielinda “Gracie” Poulson
Founder & Creative Director
Founder led since day one
In 2015 Gracie and Ryan planted around five hundred rose bushes at their first home, in honor of her grandmother. Florists found the flowers on social media, the requests started arriving, and a garden became a farm almost by accident. Gracie still chooses every variety herself.
A Real Grower
We grow every plant on our own farm, learning what thrives, what surprises us, and what is worth growing again.
A Personal Touch
We grow, test and refine every variety ourselves - so what makes it to you has earned its place here.
A Bigger Purpose
More than a place to buy plants - a community built around growing, sharing and finding more beauty in everyday life.
A journey rooted in love
From our farm to your home

2017

2018

A dedicated growing site, and the start of the Estate Rose program.
2021
Twenty acres in Somis
The Ventura County farm, where more than a thousand varieties are trialed.
