Nye Bevan is an uplifting English Shrub Rose introduced by David Austin in 2021, named in honor of Aneurin “Nye” Bevan, the founder of Britain’s National Health Service. Its gently open‑cupped blooms start in soft yellow and gradually fade to cream, with scallop-shaped, incurved petals framing a golden-stamen center for a delightfully airy and serene appearance. The rose emits a light‑medium myrrh fragrance and repeats flowering from late spring through fall—just remove spent blooms for richer reblooming.
This medium-sized shrub forms an upright, rounded habit about 3½ ft tall and wide, with mid-green, semi-glossy foliage and strong disease resistance—ideal for containers, borders, or sensory gardens.
