Fragrant Cloud is a legendary hybrid tea rose bred by Mathias Tantau Jr. in Germany in 1963 and introduced to the U.S. in 1967. Celebrated for its striking coral-red blooms and one of the most powerful fragrances in the rose world, this variety earned its place in the Rose Hall of Fame in 1981. With large, high-centered flowers, glossy foliage, and floriferous performance, Fragrant Cloud is a standout in cutting gardens, mixed borders, or fragrance-focused plantings.
