About Viburnum dentatum 'Plum Pudding' Potted Viburnum Bush
Viburnum dentatum 'Plum Pudding' - NativeStar® Plum Pudding Viburnum
Plum Pudding Viburnum is a compact native deciduous shrub with a dense upright habit. Its glossy rich green foliage slowly transitions to burgundy red with raspberry undersides in fall. Flat-topped clusters of fragrant white flowers bloom in late spring and are followed by abundant blue-black drupes in summer that persist in winter. Flowers best in loamy, moist well-drained soils. Drought tolerant once established.
Viburnum dentatum also acts as a host for the Spring Azure butterfly.
