Refreshing your garden doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. With the arrival of spring, I’m always eager to give my outdoor space attention and care. Winter weather, which varies in severity depending on where you live, can wreak havoc on porches, patios, decks, outdoor furniture and home gardens. The first order of business is to tend to your herbs and plants, allowing them a fresh start to the growing season. Just as our homes need a spring cleaning, so do our gardens.
We recently talked about how we get our roses off to a great start in the spring, and we like to give this level of care to all the plants and herbs on our farm. We also recommend taking time to deep clean your outdoor space and furniture. Whether it’s with a good old fashioned scrub brush, or a power washer, taking off the layers of grime can often have your space feeling as good as new.
