Oh, Martha! - Grace Rose Farm

Oh, Martha!

Article: Oh, Martha!

all blogs
I truly believe that every gardener holds Martha Stewart in high regard. When the Meilland-Star brand decided to honor her by naming a rose after her, it felt like a perfectly natural choice—especially considering Martha's deep love for roses and her impressive collection that includes shrubs, climbers, and tree roses!

We are lucky to have our California bare root grower as the official grower for the Martha Stewart rose. I’ve had the opportunity to grow the pre-release version in my garden over the past two years, and I must say, it is absolutely stunning! The beauty of this rose is truly breathtaking, and the fragrance is enchanting! Just this week, Heidi and I strolled through the fields of Martha Stewart roses, and we were both overjoyed by what we witnessed!

As this is a new introduction, our grower is diligently working to build stock. Be prepared—these lovely roses are sure to sell out quickly once we launch! I’m thrilled to share that all three tiers of our membership will have the exclusive chance to purchase Martha Stewart roses first. We’ve also included her in our “Coveted By Gracie” collection within our catalog, alongside over 150 rare and highly sought-after varieties. While we're still waiting to confirm the exact number of Martha Stewart roses available, I promise to keep you updated so you can be ready when the time comes!

Here’s a fun tidbit: Heidi played a vital role in introducing this exquisite French Meilland rose to the American gardening community! Isn’t that amazing?

So, gear up for an exciting arrival! The Martha Stewart rose is making her final growth push before she graces your beautiful gardens!

What do you think about the size and beauty of these bushes? It’s truly remarkable! Who else is coveting the Martha Stewart rose?
