White Maman Cochet

Regular price

I always say when a rose is named after the hybridizer’s mother, you KNOW it is the best. This rose is the white sport (spontaneous genetic mutation) of Maman Cochet, named for the hybridizer’s mother and grandmother. A large shrub when mature, this beauty’s petals are pale lemon washed and punctuated by bits of pink which fade to soft white. Large full blooms come all summer long with the fall blooms being some of the best. Found growing all over California at abandoned homesites and old cemeteries, she’s as tough as she is beautiful. Like all Teas, she is a good cut flower and garden shrub.
